![]() ![]() It is still a damn good card that should yield better performance in this game than it does. While my card isn't the greatest anymore. Running this game on low with all options off just to get frames to stay above 60 is still not the answer. The problem for me is that frames go from 100+ to 40 or below depending on what area of the map I am in and what time of day it is. If had cash for new monitor and card(gsync capable), bet your butt I would have them. My monitor has limited refresh rates 60 by default. I mean the game still has other lag and hitching issues but a big majorty is due to sync issues with GPU and monitor this game is perfect for g-sync same issue back with assassin creed black flag gsync made huge diffence game perfectly smooth becasue it dynamically matching refresh to framerate. 100fps seems best average for me so i changed from 120 to 100hz in settings and much smoother with vsync. I have 120hz and max settings 4xMSAA when frames drop under 110 it just not smooth i experance hitching. Yea people with higehr hz monitors if you dont have gsync and you cant keep frame close to moinitors refreshrate this game stutters and hitches bad with vsync without vsync not smooth at all.īest to run app to to monitor your framerate to get an idea on what you average. The stutter when frames are above the refresh rate doesn't seem as bad but.it is still bad enough to not want to play much. It is really noticable when the fps hits 58 or lower.literally a slideshow. Areas that have lower or alot higher fps than my refresh rate cause stutter. Areas where fps is near my monitors refresh rate are smooth as butter (both vsync on and off). Początkowo opublikowane przez |DiStAiN|:For me the stuttering seems to be caused by the variants in framerates. Temps never exceed 64 degrees on the gpu. With this I also see flickers or black flashing that others have reported. In this game only I see what I can assume is teal and purple artifacts occasionally when running the most current nvidia driver(clean install). The stutter when frames are above the refresh rate doesn't seem as bad but.it is still bad enough to not want to play much.Īlso, side note. stuttering is still there.įor me the stuttering seems to be caused by the variants in framerates. Tried at stock settings, tried at overclocked settings, and basically everything I could think of including disabling any software from logitech and razer. Tried with hyperthreading on/off and also tried with parked cores unparked. This is awesome, I have this rig: core i7 3770k (stock speed), 8 gb ddr3 2100 mhz and a gtx 780 3 gb vram and now I can run the game all maxed out (even HBAO+) but AA (SMAA) and I get no stuttering.Īlways run max performance. You can also set GPUMaxBufferedFrames="3" instead of "1" but you'll probably get more input lag.So I've set it to "0" but it's up to you. Setting DisableLoadingMip0 = "1" in EditorGamerProfile.xml makes the game looking worse to me.Play the game and tell me if stutter is still present ) Locate and set Power management mode to use prefer maximum performance. Now it comes the magic: go to Nvidia CP and add Far Cry 4 in the "Manage 3D config" section (if you haven't done it yet). Change GPUMaxBufferedFrames="0" to GPUMaxBufferedFrames="1" (yeah, I know most of you already knew this). Open the file EditorGamerProfile.xml file with Wordpad I've tried several fixes to avoid the damn stuttering in this game but none of them satisfied me completly. But finally I found a good one, at least, for Nvidia users: ![]()
